Dental Insurance Facts

For patients with dental insurance, our office provides expert dental claims assistance. For no additional fee, we will electronically prepare and submit all claims. We are not contracted with any insurance companies and do not accept insurance assignment, Medicare, or dental HMO’s.

Dental insurance helps patients pay for prevention and some single-tooth dentistry, such as fillings or a crown on a yearly basis.  Dental insurance is not intended ot cover the entire cost of extensive treatment.  Lisa will help you take advantage of your dental insurance up to the limits of your coverage. 

We are occasionally asked why we don't participate in a particular insurance plan.  We strive to always provide quality care.  We use supplies and materials we consider to be the best available.  We use excellent laboratories and support services.  We have an excellent staff of qualifed professionals, and we take the time neccessary to provide for quality treatment. 

We do not participate in any plan that would encourage a more "retail" philosophy of practice.  Dentistry is a service, not a product.  The manner in which the service is provided and the attention to details makes all the difference to us.  We do not participate in any plans because they require us to discount our treatment and encourage us to make up the difference in volume.  We enjoy seeing one patient at a time and making sure our work is done correctly.
